Last Sunday afternoon, while I was in Soho w/ my homegirl Caroline about to dine at La Esquina. I spotted my homie Curtis (aka LoveMe) on the corner of Lafayette & Kenmare. I immediately walked over to Curtis and said “What Up” and introduced him to my friend Caroline. I then asked him, “What was he doing on the corner?” And, he told me he was waiting for a ride to head out to Portland because he was going to work on a project with Nike for 3 days and how he was exhausted because he just got back in from California yet even though he’s tired the show must go on.
I said it before and I’ll say it again, Curtis is the motherfucking man! And, I’m not just saying that cause he’s the homie. But, I say that because I admire his work ethic, his art and his humbleness.
I definitely hope to collaborate with him in the near future when the time is right!
