in internet trap rap aficionado time, i’m late to the Future train. i’ve been stuck on Soulja Boy’s 1up and Juice mixtape. but Yori has been bumping Future’s Dirty Sprite mixtape for some time now and as much as i wanted to hate it, i can’t. something about the autotoned southern drawl flow is super catchy and infectious. in the same vein as “Racks” and the whole Dirty Sprite mixtape, “Tony Montana” utilizes this flow over a now typical halloween horror nights Lex Luger production. if you’re fan of this, i suggest you download the Dirty Sprite mixtape and po’ up. in spirit, this whole flow reminds me a lot of what Yung LA and J-Money had going on with the “futuristic swag” movement. funny that this kids name is future, just another story about nothing though.
