I bet Martin Luther King, Jr. would be so proud that in 2012, white girl rappers would gain mainstream radio acceptance. Like Iggy Azalea. Iggy loves The Hundreds and wanted to do something together. We don’t make women’s clothing so I told her it’d have to be a men’s t-shirt. She was fine with that. She just wanted it to say “SUPERIOR PUSSY” on it with a cat. I’ve always loved Top Cat and so has Iggy, so I re-drew an Azalean kitty for her. Because the character was so caricatured and outlandish, I wanted to mellow it out with a very straightforward font as a letter treatment. So it’s kinda design-y, but illustrated-y. Get it-y?
I guess Iggy is gonna now use this as her logo as well, which is cool because I have a feeling she’s gonna go pretty far. She better not just become a $o-$o Pu$$y.
